Kevin began his insurance career in the life insurance business before joining Allstate in 1985. After 38 years with Allstate, Trahan Insurance Agency was formed with the enthusiasm for new beginnings. He graduated with a business degree from the University of Connecticut in 1981. Kevin played baseball at the Avery Point branch of Uconn for 2 years, before joining the team at the main campus in Storrs his last 2 seasons. In the community, he is a corporator for Jewett City Savings Bank, sits on the Board of Directors for the Mystic Schooners Collegiate Baseball team and the Pachaug Pond Weed Association. Kevin is active with the Plainfield Business Assocaition, mainly assisting with the Annual PBA Golf Classic. When out of the office, he can be found with his wife Delaine, on the water, golf course, bike riding, and soon hopes to fulfil his desire to learn the game of pickleball.

Lori has worked with Kevin for over 32 years. Her job is to look at her clients situation and help determine what coverage’s are best suited for them. She can help you with your Auto, Home, Renters, Boat, Motorcycle and most importantly LIFE INSURANCE needs. When not at work Lori loves spending time with her three grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson and Nora. She is grateful they all live close together and she can spend time with them on a regular basis. Lori is an avid book reader/movie watcher and loves doing this with her fur babies.

Tara has been working in the insurance industry since 2010. She knew she wanted to pursue a career in insurance because her main focus has always been to help people. Being able to provide financial security and peace of mind gives Tara a sense of fulfillment. Tara lives in Colchester with her husband Eric and her 2 boys Thomas and Niklas.

Delaine joined TIA after 30 years in bookkeeping. She is excited to start her new career and will strive to provide insurance solutions for her clients. Delaine is happy to be joining the agency and be working with her husband Kevin, niece Tara, Lori and Jordan. In her free time she enjoys golfing and biking.
